ELD 54: Create, not for the result.

Now days it's easy to think that the artist needs to create to produce a result.

But often creating for it's own sake is more than a good enough reason.

Create not for money, virality, fame, status or to reach a goal (not that that's all bad.)

But create because it's what we enjoy.

Because we are called to create...

So many pieces of content I've filmed nothing ends up happening with.

But the reality is I can put it out there regardless of it's performance.

I guess what I'm saying is: It's ok to create things because we want to. Because we enjoy it. And if we feel like it we can share that with the world without expectation of result.

Creating for no other reason than to do so gives us the permission to explore and express.

Ironically that's when our best work emerges.

Thats when we find flow.

We don't need others permission to create things. We're all artists in our own way.
